What a Quote Should Include
A complete quote should itemize: the surgeon's fee (usually the largest line item), anesthesia, the facility fee, and post-op follow-up visits through roughly 6 to 12 weeks. Quotes listing only the surgeon's portion are common but misleading for comparison — always ask for a written all-in estimate.
Items typically not included even in honest quotes: compression garments, prescription medications, pre-operative lab work, and time away from work during recovery. Revision surgery, if ever needed, is almost never included in the initial price.
